Aliene T. Moulin 1949-2025

BOARDMAN — Aliene Moulin passed away at her residence on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025.
She was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late James Claycomb and Beverly Thullen Holub. She was a lifelong area resident.
Aliene graduated from Boardman High School in 1968.
She married the love of her life, John Joseph Moulin, on March 29, 1969. They celebrated 43 years together until he sadly passed on Aug. 29, 2012.
Aliene was a housewife who enjoyed taking care of her home and her family.
She was a member of St. Charles Church and later a member of Venture Church. She was very active at the YMCA with the water aerobics classes. She also was involved with Stonecroft Ministries, and the ladies’ lunch met monthly.
Aliene loved her dogs; she especially enjoyed walking them daily. She enjoyed going to the theater to watch a good movie with her friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Darleen Moulin, with whom she made her home; nieces, Melissa Shae and Stephanie Shea; nephews, Wesley Shea and Bob Cannon; several other nieces and nephews; and dear friend of the family, Steve Woolley.
Aliene has several half-siblings who live in Kentucky.
Besides her parents and her husband, Aliene was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Shea.
Family and friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, and 9 to 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at St. Catherine of Siena Parish-St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
