Michael A. Drobik 1947-2025

HUDSON — Michael Andrew Drobik entered eternal life on Monday, July 21, 2025.
He was born in Warren, to Joseph and Anne Jenyk Drobik. Michael attended St. James School in Warren, where he served as an altar boy, and went on to graduate from Warren G Harding High School.
After high school, Michael attended Youngstown State University, where he was a brother of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity and from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Mike began his professional career at American Welding in Warren, but spent 41 years at Rotek Inc. in Aurora, where he retired in 2012 as president of the company.
Michael was comfortable on any golf course. For many years, he belonged to The Country Club of Hudson, and in retirement, the Sea Trail Golf Resort in North Carolina.
In addition to playing golf, Michael followed Cleveland sports, always waiting for that World Series or Superbowl win. He enjoyed watching his children play Hudson sports: soccer, softball and basketball. He even coached once in a while.
Mike was an avid reader and a Trekkie.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mulberry Gardens Memory Care and Amedisys Hospice for the superb care they gave to Mike.

He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Lucy and Neil; his brother, Steve (Carol); sisters-in-law, Marilyn Janis and Debbie Janis (Joe) Verbosky; a niece, Natalie (Nick) Dirkenson; a nephew, Joe Verbosky; and numerous cousins.
