Jean Ann Baun 1933-2025

She was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Youngstown, to Robert and Louise Kling, the oldest of four children. She graduated from Ursuline High School in 1951 and married Richard A. Baun Dec. 26, 1955, at St. Dominic Catholic Church.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. (U.S. Army, Ret.) Richard A. Baun, and two brothers, Robert and Richard.

She is survived by her sister, Margie Ziemianski (Castle Rock, Colorado); sister-in-law, Patricia Whitcomb (Chico, California); and brother-in-law, James Baun, and his wife, Judy (Albuquerque, New Mexico); her six children and their spouses, Dr. Michael and Julia Baun (Valdosta, Georgia), Capt. (U.S. Navy, Ret.) Lawrence and Lisa Baun (Norfolk, Virginia), Robert and Mishelle Baun (Fort Collins, Colorado), Daniel and Linda Baun (Marshall, Minnesota), Karen and Mark Kostohris (Mexico Beach, Florida) and Peggy and Wally Granquist (Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota); as well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown. Please arrive at the cemetery offices by 10:45 a.m.
