Ina Harrington 1953-2025
SHELBY, N.C. — Ina McDowell Harrington, 72, of Shelby, formerly of Forest City, North Carolina, and Youngstown, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Shelby.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Harrington of Boiling Springs, North Carolina (formerly Concord, North Carolina); daughter, Tori Beth (Colton) Crenshaw of Lancaster, South Carolina; sister, Carol (Mike) Sowder of Floyd, Virginia; nephews, Cullen Sowder and Marcus (Valerie) Sowder; great-niece, Chloe Sowder; and great-nephew, Leaf Sowder.
Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Cecil Burton Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at Shelby Presbyterian Church, with interment to follow in Cleveland Memorial Park, Shelby, North Carolina.
