Ronald J. Adderty 1940-2025

Ron was born Feb. 20, 1940, to Joseph and Kathryn Hardy Adderty. He graduated from Sharon High School in 1958 and earned his engineering degree from Youngstown State University.

He worked as a supervisor at Republic Steel in Youngstown and later at UOP in Tonawanda, New York.

He was a member of St. Luke Parish in Boardman.

Ron enjoyed the outdoors and Sprint Car racing. He especially enjoyed spending time at his cabin and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Durisko Adderty; his children, Tod (Kim) Garrett and Jody (Paul) Dolak; and his grandchildren, Zack, Mitchell, Tyler and Joshua.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Dolores DeCapua and Marcie Kostka.

Per Ron’s request, services were held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
