Pauline Hulea 1932-2025

She was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of George and Pauline Biris. She was a lifelong resident of Youngstown and Poland and a proud graduate of South High School.

Pauline married Nick Hulea in 1950 and celebrated 62 years of marriage before he passed away in 2012.

She was a homemaker for many years, taking care of her three children. She also worked at Poland schools as a secretary until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory, Nick (Nancy) Hulea and Paul (Raedine) Hulea. She will be sadly missed by her eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her one sister, Mary; daughter, Diane; and her husband, Nick.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, with a service at 6:30 p.m., at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home in Youngstown.

Burial will take place at a later date in Lake Park Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Briarfield Manor of Austintown, for the love and care they gave Pauline during her time there.

Vaschak-Kirila handled all of the arrangements for the family.
