Mary Buck 1957-2025

Mary was born Oct. 11, 1957, in Circleville, a daughter to the late Oscar and Margaret Taylor Buck.

She was a 1978 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. After graduation, she attended ITT Technical School, where she received her associate degree in secretarial studies.

Mary worked for Walmart and retired in 2024.

Mary took immense joy in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Beyond her family, Mary had a zest for life that included various hobbies and interests. She found pleasure in visiting the casino, where she loved to play slot machines. Her enthusiasm for all forms of card games became a beloved aspect of her gatherings with friends and family. Additionally, Mary’s adventurous spirit led her to embark on numerous cruises with her sisters, creating unforgettable memories they would recount with joy.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Michael Weiss (Jillian Clay), Amy LaRosa (Patrick Haynie) and Matthew (Jessica) Weiss; sisters, Cindy (Roger) Adkins, Joan (Steve) Knowlton and Ruth Buck; brother, Bob (Sonya) Buck; along with 11 grandchildren; and her furry companion, Karma.

A funeral service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service.

Mary will be laid to rest in Girard City Cemetery.
