Jill Renee Shultz 1970-2025

SANDY LAKE, Pa. — Jill Renee Shultz, 55, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, Sunday, June 8, 2025, after a short battle with breast cancer. Jill lived in Sandy Lake, Pa., with her husband, Rick Shultz, with whom she shared a full, timeless and happy marriage.
Born the youngest daughter of Dale and Nancy Fabiilli Chambers, in Youngstown, on Feb. 11, 1970, Jill loved to laugh and shared that joy with her family and friends. Left to honor her memory are her parents; her sister, Dawn-Elaine (Mike) Muder; children, Dale (Skylar) Hagler, Teryn (Jacob) Seals, Crystal (Chris) Buchanan and Brian (Stephanie) Shultz; and three grandchildren, Connor, Ethan and Madison (Joseph) Buchanan. She also leaves behind a circle of friends too large to list whom she loved as much as her family.
Jill worked in the insurance industry for nearly 15 years, most recently for Chase Agency in Youngstown.
Jill filled the lives of all those who knew her with warm laughter and joy. She loved traveling and experiencing things like zip-lining with her husband, Rick, and it was clear to everyone who knew them that their love was the kind that never faded. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, teaching sign language and reading, and watching them grow. She found peace on the beaches of Lake Erie scattered with sea glass, which became a core part of her life in the artistic business she worked on with her sister, Dawn-Elaine. Jill was well known for her incredible pies, handmade baby blankets, and her selfless drive to help her friends and family, whether that was with craft shows, bridal showers or illnesses. She filled her spare time with puzzles and baking, and enjoyed the challenge of a huge and complicated puzzle or mystery just as much as the continuous effort to create “the perfect chocolate chip cookie dough.” Her compassion and selflessness were boundless, and she shared them with everyone she met.
Donations in Jill’s memory can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a foundation that was dear to her heart.
Calling hours will be held noon to 4 p.m. June 21, 2025, at Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512, with a short memorial service at 4 p.m.
