James M. Andric 1947-2025
POLAND — James Michael “Mick” Andric, 77, passed away Friday morning, June 20, 2025, at his home.
Mick was born July 7, 1947, in Lisbon, a son of Frank and Frances Crawford Andric. Mick was a 1965 graduate of David Anderson High School in Lisbon and then enlisted in the United States Army. He served during the Vietnam War and was awarded an honorable discharge for his service.
Mick worked for many years as a meat manager for many local supermarkets, grocery stores and distributors. He was highly respected and enjoyed his work and those he met along the way.
Outside of work, Mick was a Miami Dolphins super fan as well as an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mick was devoted to his grandchildren. Their interests became his own as he supported them in every activity. Mick’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mick will always be remembered by his wife of 44 years, Mary Guerrieri Andric of Poland; children, Doug (Melissa) Andric of Lisbon, Paul (Sarah) Sammartino of Austintown, Denise (Tom) Mackey of Guilford Lake, Devenee (Daniel) Schumacher of New Springfield, Michelle Sammartino of New Springfield and Kimberly Andric of Poland; 10 grandchildren, Avery (Hannah), Ady, Braedon, Taylor, Madison, Michael, Nicholas, Alexa (Tony), Leah and Asha; six beloved great-grandchildren; sister, Lou Pezzano of Lisbon; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mick was preceded in death by his brothers, Dick and Dave Andric.
Per Mick’s wishes, there will be no services.
