Georgia A. Carr 1951-2025

Georgia was born March 6, 1951, in Somerset, Pa., a daughter of James and Mary Ogline Weigle. She was a graduate of Somerset High School and later Slippery Rock University.

For 30 years, Georgia taught fourth grade for the Hubbard Board of Education, retiring in 2008.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and reading.

Georgia will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Lisa (Blake) Herttua of Akron and Natalie Carr of Hubbard; her sister, Sally (David) Williamson of McComb Township, Michigan; and nephew, James Williamson.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Mary Alice Weigle.

Per Georgia’s request, there are no services.
