Elizabeth M. Morrison 1952-2025

She was born March 6, 1952, in Queens, New York, a daughter of Harry “Jack” and Isabell Yurgelonis Hasher.

Elizabeth worked as an accountant for the former Westgate Pharmacy in Youngstown for several years prior to retiring.

She married John H. Morrison Jr., on Aug. 6, 1969. Together they shared 55 years of marriage and many happy memories together. He survives her.

Elizabeth was an avid bowler and golfer. She also enjoyed trying her luck at the local casinos playing slots, watching college football, horse racing, and her favorite show, The Waltons. Her greatest joy was her family, and she loved to cook meals for her loved ones, especially during the holidays. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her husband, Elizabeth is survived by a son, Dwayne R. Morrison of Youngstown. She also leaves behind a brother, John Hasher of Yorktown Heights, New York; six beloved grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Yvonne Morrison; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Herb Tompkins.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
