Anne S. Zuzga 1929-2025

CAMPBELL — Anne S. Zuzga, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Hampton Woods in Poland, Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Anne was born April 7, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of Steve and Victoria Pavel Bougoukas.
She was a 1947 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.
Anne married Thomas J. Zuzga in May 1950 and they were married until his passing on Aug. 1, 1997.
Anne worked in advertising for several years and in the billing department of Northside Hospital for many years.
She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish. Anne was a member of the church choir for many years. She helped make pierogies at the church and was a member of the PTA.
Anne enjoyed having family and friends, especially her grandchildren, over for pool parties. She also liked her trips to the casinos to play the slot machines.
Anne will be deeply missed and always remembered by her children, Steve Zuzga of Youngstown, Rose Anne (Randy) Yacovone of Lake Milton and France Szpytko of Poland; grandchildren, Nicole Supak, Rachel Brant, T.J. Zuzga and Luke Zuzga; three great-grandchildren, Silas Supak, Freddie Brant and Gianna Zuzga, and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Anthony Beukas; her sister, Dorothy Zito; son-in-law, Stevan Szpytko; and a grandson, Joseph Zuzga.
The Zuzga family has entrusted Anne’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Campbell, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Thomas Kraszewski.
Anne will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
The family requests that donations be made in Anne’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
