Timothy Hallaman 1959-2025

BOARDMAN — Timothy George Hallaman, 66, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Born April 5, 1959, Tim was a proud lifelong resident of Boardman and a graduate of Boardman High School.

He spent many years working in the auto industry, including at Frederick Dodge, and later retired from Greenwood Chevrolet, where he built strong friendships and took great pride in his work.

Tim had a deep love for classic cars and could often be found in the garage tinkering on something with a coffee in hand and a story to tell. But more than anything, he loved his family. He found the most joy in creating family traditions, big and small – from holiday gatherings to Sunday dinners – and those memories will live on in all of us.

He is survived by his loving children, son, Mathew Hallaman (Erika Crago), and grandson, Mathew Hallaman Jr., who brought so much pride and joy into Tim’s life; daughter, Amber Hallaman (Matthew Treharn); along with Micah Hallaman (Ava Michalski), who was like a son to Tim and shared a special bond with him, and Aubrey Treharn. Tim poured his heart into being a grandfather and nothing made him light up more than time spent with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Ester Hallaman, whom he loved dearly.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his wit, his stories and the family moments he helped create that will be cherished for generations.

A celebration of life will be 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Cricket’s Bar and Grill, 1733 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44502. All who knew and loved Tim are welcome.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.

Family and friends are encouraged to offer prayers for the family and support via phone call, text, email or may visit the Book of Memories at www.rossifunerals.com.
