Thomas Repasky 1949-2025

CAMPBELL — Thomas Repasky, 76, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, May 2, 2025, at his home.

Thomas was born March 4, 1949, in Youngstown, the son of the late Joseph and Justina Stanislaw Repasky.

He was a 1967 graduate of Brunerdale Seminary in Canton.

Thomas married the love of his life, the former Karen Todessa, on May 12, 1973, and they shared 51 years of marriage.

Thomas worked for General Motors for 36 years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of UAW Local 1112, where he served on the cap council.

He was a Navy veteran, was on the board of the Campbell Little Red Devils, and served as an officer of Campbell Gridiron and Campbell Booster Clubs. Thomas coached Campbell girls softball, Ponytail minor and major divisions. He was also a Past Grand Knight of Campbell Knights of Columbus Council 13466, a member of American Legion Post 560 and St. Lucy Men’s Society.

Thomas was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish-St. John the Baptist Church in Campbell.

He enjoyed golfing with the General Motors Retiree Golf League, was an avid card player, and a big Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Thomas will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Karen; his daughters, Andrea (Clyde) of Detroit and Diana (J.C.) of Struthers; his granddaughter, Paige Rosado, who was the apple of his eye; his sisters, Philomena Wasko and Anna (Bill) Davis; his brother, Steve Repasky; brothers-in-law, Shane White and Rick Todessa; sisters-in-law, Annettee Todessa and Liann Phillips; nephews, Aaron (Faith) Todessa, Richie Phillips, Sam Todessa and Ryan (Emily) Phillips; his niece, Erika (Dom) Moore; great-nieces, Chloe, Camille, Everley and Iris; and great-nephews, Owen and Vinny.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ted Todessa.

The Repasky family would like to thank Dr. Hilmer Negrete and the staff of Boardman Dialysis for their wonderful and compassionate care for many years.

The Repasky family has entrusted Thomas’ care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the funeral home.

A prayer service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Campbell.

Thomas will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
