Stewart D. Slider 1952-2025

Stewart was born Oct. 24, 1952, in Youngstown, the son of Dale and Nellie Blake Slider. He graduated from Jackson Milton High School in 1971.

Stewart retired from Leaseway Motor Freight in Lordstown, where he was a car hauler for 35 years. He was a member of the Fat Man Club in Lake Milton and the Lake Milton Golf Association.

Stewart is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cindy Miller Slider; daughter, Angie (Dave) Klingensmith; granddaughters, Mady and Emma; sister, Diane (Dick) Hyden; brothers, Gary (Michelle) and Brian; sister-in-law, Pam Baytos; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Following Stewart’s wishes, there will be no services.

Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, assisted the family with arrangements.
