Sherden W. Kenner 1933-2025

Sherden was born Oct. 24, 1933 in Vandergrift, Pa., the son of Arthur and Revenia Wilson Kenner.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Sherden worked for RMI Co. in Niles for 34 years as a draftsman, retiring in 1996.

He was a member of Liberty Assembly of God Church for many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Walter (Marilyn) Kenner of Boardman, David (Terri) Kenner of Austintown and Diana (Neil) Seidner of Lake Milton; and his grandchildren, Maria, Eric, Jason and Allison.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth M. (Gordon) Kenner, whom he married July 13, 1953, and who died June 5, 2011; his daughter, Sharon Lattanzi; his sister, Audrey Wilkins; brother, Lewis Kenner; and grandson, Matthew.

Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, at Blackstone Funeral Home, where family and friends may gather from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Sherden will be laid to rest next to his wife, together again, in Girard City Cemetery.
