Matthew C. Stephens 1933-2025

Matthew was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Youngstown, a son of Matthew B. and Barbara Kliner Stephens.

He was a graduate of Campbell High School.

Matthew was a ham radio operator and enjoyed fishing.

For many years, he was a brick mason at Youngstown Sheet & Tube, retiring in 1980.

Matthew was a member of St. John Episcopal Church in Sharon, Pa.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

His wife, the former Joyce D. Zorek, whom he married Sept. 15, 1962, passed away Aug. 22, 2009.

He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter, Stacey Stephens (Mark G. Novak) of Placerville, California.

He also leaves his brother, Robert (Margaret) Stephens of Canfield.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and brother, Dennis Stephens.
