BOARDMAN — Maryann K. Pillin, 91, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Briarfield Place, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 28, 1933, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late John and Mary Johnson Toman.

Maryann was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Her professional journey included her work as an administrative assistant for Chicago Land Title in downtown Youngstown, followed by her role as an office manager at the Youngstown Club, where she had the joy of working alongside her sister, Joan.

She was a member of St. Christine Church, where she was very active, being a valued member of the Infant Guild and 1st Friday.

Maryann’s passion for social interactions led her to forge many lasting friendships throughout her life. Maryann also had a strong sense of creativity. Known for her skills as a great seamstress, she found fulfillment in her hobbies and interests. Ever the social butterfly, Maryann enjoyed traveling with family and friends and participating in her many card clubs.
