Mary E. Lenz 1932-2025

She was born July 27, 1932, a daughter of the late Adelaide Miley. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, and attended Youngstown College Business School before working and enjoying the rest of her life in the world of culinary arts. She received many certificates and awards for her professionalism in cake decorating, table settings and cooking methods, both in the United States and Canada. She appeared twice on Marge Mariner’s Show on WFMJ, “Kitchen Corner.”

Mary and her late husband, the Rev. Frederick W. Lenz, were both well-known musicians in the area and in Canada for their sacred concerts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her nephew, John (Marilyn) Gilmore of Boardman; and nieces, Jeannie (Fred) Lenz of Colorado, Cindy (Eddie) Cappitte of Boardman and Debbie (Johnny) Christmas of Boardman.

Mary was preceded in death by her late husband, the Rev. Frederick W. Lenz; her mother, Mrs. Adelaide Miley; grandparents, Herbert C. and Emma Miley; and her twin brother, Herb C. Gilmore.

Private services were held and Mary was laid to rest with her husband in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
