Jeremy C. Ferguson 1976-2025
LAKE MILTON — Jeremy C. Ferguson, 49, passed away peacefully into eternal rest with his family by his side, Monday, May 19, 2025, at Akron General Hospital, following an extended illness.
He was born May 17, 1976, in Warren, the son of James S. Ferguson and Pamela S. Barnes Ferguson-Tachovaka.
Jeremy had lived in Lake Milton for the last 23 years. He was formerly of Newton Falls, where he graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1995. He married the love of his life, Lisa Marie Keglor, on May 29, 1999, and they enjoyed the past 25 years together.
Jeremy worked on the assembly line at General Motors Lordstown for 22 years, retiring in 2021. He loved traveling, exploring, fishing, the Cleveland Browns, drag bike racing with his son Brandon, cooking with his daughter Hannah, and his three dogs, and was a devoted father and husband to his family.
Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Lisa M. Ferguson of Lake Milton; his father, James S. Ferguson of Newton Falls; his mother and stepfather, Pamela and Mike Tachovaka of Howland; one daughter, Hannah Ferguson (Tyler Pinchot) of Lake Milton; one son, Brandon Ferguson of Lake Milton; one sister, Poppy and Gregg Fee of Warren; one brother, Colby Ferguson of Chesapeake, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with Fr. David Merzweiler officiating. Calling hours will be 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
