Geraldine George 1935-2025
POLAND — Geraldine George passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the age of 90.
She was born April 22, 1935, in Warren, a daughter of Gerald Smith and the former Anne Palovich.
Geraldine earned her master’s degree from Capital University and dedicated her career to teaching at Struthers Schools.
Geraldine was an active member of the Red Hat Society. Her passion for antiques and shopping reflected her keen eye for beauty and detail, and she always dressed to the hilt.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Kay (Donald) Colucci of New Castle, Pa.; son, Brent Dietzel of Concord; and five grandchildren, Donald Jr., Gabriella and Tori Colucci, and Anatoliy John and Aubrey Hanna Dietzel.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn George; and her son, Kreg Dietzel.
A funeral service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at Poland Methodist Church.
