Arlene Juillerat 1940-2025

BOARDMAN — Arlene Juillerat, 84, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Arlene was born Oct. 31, 1940, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Leroy and Elsie Franken Evans, and was a lifelong Boardman resident.
She dedicated her life to raising her children and nurturing her family with unwavering love and support. Arlene found joy in the simple pleasures of life — spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sharing stories and creating lasting memories.
On Sept. 28, 1957, Arlene married Leonard R. Juillerat, lovingly known as “Pee Wee.” They shared 49 years of marriage before his passing on Dec. 23, 2006.
She is survived by her children, Leonard D. Juillerat, Paul M. (Deanna) Juillerat and Deborah J. Earl; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Juillerat; her beloved grandchildren, Jeffrey (Alicia) Juillerat, Gregory Juillerat, Daniel (Victoria) Earl, Abbey (Terry) Boggs, Bethany (James) Ivey and Jordan Juillerat; nephews, Mark Evans and Matt (Jennifer) Evans; and many cousins and extended family members.
Affectionately known as “Oma,” Arlene also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, JD, Thatcher, Rose, Maverick and Channing, all of whom live in North Carolina.
Arlene enjoyed spending time in North Carolina, where she could be with her family. She will be remembered for her fierce love of God and her unwavering dedication to praying for each of her family members.
She enjoyed baking cakes, reading, watching Westerns, traveling and crocheting. She was also an exceptional cook, and the family shared many delicious meals around her table.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Patricia L. Juillerat; her son-in-law, Glenn Earl; her brother, Richard Evans; her sister-in-law, Ann Evans; and a sister, Louise Evans.
Family and friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a funeral service will take place at 1 p.m.
Arlene will be laid to rest beside her husband and daughter in Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
