Patricia J. Cullen 1960-2025

GIRARD — Patricia J. Cullen passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Anna Irwin Cullen. A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1979, Patricia went on to forge a career in security, most recently working at Insight Hospital and Medical Center.

Patricia was deeply connected to her family and found immense joy in her relationships. She held a special place in her heart for her brothers, John (Marie) Cullen, SFC retired, Gary (Anna) Cullen, Joseph (Lorraine) Cullen, Barry (Deborah) Cullen and Thomas (Tina) Cullen. Her bond with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews was a source of pride and happiness for her, reflecting her love and devotion to family.

In addition to her professional and familial commitments, Patricia cherished moments spent with friends, particularly their memorable trips to Cook Forest.

A loyal supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, she enjoyed engaging with others who shared her enthusiasm for the team.

Patricia’s life was marked by her involvement with Alcoholics Anonymous, which played a significant role in her life for 22 years.

She was always so proud to present her brother, John, with a sobriety chip each time she reached a milestone in her sobriety journey. She often spoke of her proudest accomplishments with gratitude, especially emphasizing the close relationships she built within the AA community.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Daniel Farwell, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life.

A visitation for Patricia will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., both taking place at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home-Boardman-Canfield Chapel, 3701 Starr’s Centre Drive, Canfield.

Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, dedication to her family, her infectious laugh and the warmth she brought to the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a legacy

of love and connection that will resonate with all who knew her.
