Kenneth Luther 1948-2025
HUBBARD — Kenneth Luther, a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, became an angel on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Ken was born on Oct. 4, 1948, in Youngstown, a son to Jack and Sarah Senzarino Luther. He was the firstborn son who later became a loving and protective big brother to Jacalyn Luther Stiver and Brian Luther.
He graduated from Hubbard High School in 1967, where he was on the varsity football team that won the Steel Valley Championship his senior year.
Ken moved to South Florida in 1975, where he worked in construction until his retirement, and returned to Ohio in 2003.
His generous, loving way will be remembered and sadly missed by his family.
Ken is survived by his sister, Jacalyn (Luther) Stiver; a brother, Brian (Beth) Luther, both of Hubbard; two nephews, Michael (Kaylee) Stiver and Sam Luther; two nieces, Sarah (John) Daughton and Emily Luther; and two great-nieces, Jocelyn and Sadie Daughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Sarah; the love of his life, Dana Papa; and brother-in-law, Gary Stiver.
Per Ken’s wishes, family and friends may call from noon to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers.
A funeral service celebrating Ken’s life will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dan Yargo officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
Ken’s family would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to Southern Care Hospice and especially his nurse, Cassie, for the tender and loving care provided to him.
The family is requesting material tributes take the form of contributions to Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306, in memory of Ken.
Ken had immeasurable generosity and love that he tirelessly gave in his everyday life to all he knew.
