Bryan K. Tedesco 1957-2025
CAMPBELL — Bryan K. Tedesco, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Bryan was born Oct. 29, 1957, in Youngstown, a son of Frank “Tubby” and Phyllis L. Smitley Tedesco.
He was a 1975 graduate of Ursuline High School.
Bryan married the love of his life and his soulmate, the former Monica Crano, on Nov. 4, 1978.
He worked as a lineman for Ohio Edison for 45 years and also worked at the Canfield Fair for over 30 years as an electrician.
Bryan was a 2nd-Ward councilman for 20 years before becoming mayor of the city of Campbell in 2021.
Bryan loved old cars. He was a working mayor, always out and about doing things for the city that he loved so much. You could always count on Bryan to be just one call away to help anyone who needed it.
Bryan will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Monica; his sons, Brandon (Margherita) Tedesco of Gilbert, Arizona, and Josh (Monica Smith) Tedesco of Campbell; his grandsons, Joey and Vito Tedesco; his brother, Thomas Tedesco of Campbell; his sister, Denise (Mike Fabian) Tedesco of Campbell; nieces, Lynn (Bob) Toomey, Jessica (Joe) Vesa of Howland, Kara (Matt) Berlin of Hubbard and Helena (Mike) Schiavi of Campbell; his nephew, Anthony Tedesco of Youngstown; great-nephews, Josh Toomey and Anthony Vesa; great-nieces, Emelia and Mackenzie Schiavi of Campbell; Don (Berni) Ritenour, whom he considered a brother; many friends and family; and his beloved dog, Nemo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Jacqueline (Jill) Tedesco; his sister and brother-in-law, Debra (Gerald) Matthew; and his beloved dog, Leo.
The Tedesco family has entrusted Bryan’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
A prayer service will be 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Campbell, officiated by Fr. Tom Kraszewski.
