NORTH LIMA — Barbara Ann Snow, 87, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 30, 1937, in Struthers, Barbara was the daughter of the late Raymond and Grace Wire Codner.
A 1955 graduate of North Lima High School, where she was a majorette for the Zippers, she was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley and a familiar, kind-hearted presence in her community.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and homemaker. She spent over 20 years working in the housekeeping department at Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance Co. before retiring.
Her faith was important to her, and she attended Restoration Ministries of Youngstown alongside her daughter, Barbara. Known for her generous spirit and warm heart, Barbara delighted in baking for family and friends — her cakes were legendary and brought joy to many.
