Pauline C. Otterson 1941-2025

Pauline was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Kittanning, Pa., the daughter of the late Theodore W. and Bertha A. Salsgiver Brown.

Pauline was a graduate of Kittanning High School. She was a member of Butler First Church of the Nazarene.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Erica (Curtis) Baun of Boardman and their family; her daughter, Greta (Christopher) Curry of New Bern, North Carolina; her grandson, Jacob Curry of New Bern, North Carolina; her granddaughter, Megan Curry of Morgantown, W.Va.; her sisters, Emmy (Jerry) Houser, Judith Stitt and Sally Metzger; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David L. Otterson; her sisters Margaret, Orvetta Louise, Ruth and Karen; and her brothers, Randy, Ted, Jim and Gary.

The family will receive relatives and friends 10 to 11 a.m. March 8, 2025, at Butler First Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road, Butler, Pa. 16001.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. March 8, 2025, at the church.

The family would like to thank Paisley House, St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center and Hospice House for the care they provided over the past several years.

The family requests contributions be made in Pauline’s name to Paisley House or Butler First Church of the Nazarene.
