Mark A. Pine 1957-2025

Mark was a graduate of Springfield Local High School, Class of 1975. He was the only son of Patricia Glozer Nuhfer.

He worked for Tamco Distributors until they closed in 2001. He then worked for Spirex Corp. as a machinist.

Mark loved nature and animals, and he could grow anything. He loved taking walks and helping people whenever they needed it.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Mary Martin of 21 years, whom he married May 24, 2003.

Mark is also survived by his nieces, Amber (Brian) MacKenzie, Carly and Jami Lossick, Jana Fellows, Stephanie (Crystal) Martin, Kristina and Nick Meninchini, Sarah and Zach Howout, Gabrielle Martin, Kelsey (Justin) Harrington and Krista (Zach) Soehnlen.

He leaves behind his nephews, Joshua D. Martin, Ronald (Amanda) Huish, Robert John (Kayla) Martin, Jr. and Josh Fellows; and especially great-nephews and -nieces, Blake, Gibson, Ashton and Aidley.

He will be missed by his cats, Baby and Boo, whom he loved so much.

He was preceded in death by his Papa, Mother, Aunt Phil, Uncle Bob; sisters, Patricia Lossisk and Lisa (Lucas); brothers-in-law, Joseph Lossick and Robert John Martin Sr.; father-in-law, Tex J. Martin Sr.; and mother-in-law, Gwendolyn V. Martin.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements for the family.
