Frank J. Swetlech 1946-2025

Born Sept. 3, 1946, in Sharon, Pa., Frank was the son of the late Frank and Madeline Baumgartner Swetlech.

He was preceded in death on Dec. 21, 2019, by his wife, the former Donna Fecik. They were married June 3, 1972.

Frank retired after 30 years of service at GM in Lordstown, where he was an assembly line worker.

Frank was in the Army Reserve and was a former member of Kedron Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Frank is survived by his son, Joshua Swetlech of Shenango Township; a daughter, Lauren and Mark Sapko of State College, Pa.; four grandchildren, Chloe, Eva, Maya and Violet Sapko; and a brother, Rick Swetlech of Gilbert, Arizona.

Friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of his service at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St., Sharon.

Interment will be in St. John’s Orthodox Cemetery.
