Katherine Pacak 1930-2025

CINCINNATI — Katherine Pacak, 94, of Cincinnati, formerly of Campbell, departed this life peacefully, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025.

Born June 22, 1930, to the late Raymond and Mary Harley Bond, Katherine’s life was a testament to love, devotion and spirit.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Darice (Gary Keller) Pacak, and her devoted son, Nick (Sandy) Pacak. Katherine was a proud and doting grandmother to Alexandra (Heidel) and Nick (Kara) Pacak, and a cherished great-grandmother to Isabel Grace and Nicholas George. Her family was the very heart of her existence and she cherished every moment spent in their company.

Katherine’s hands were never idle, as she found joy in the art of crocheting, creating timeless pieces that will be treasured by her family for generations.

Her professional life was marked by her tenure as a bank teller at Huntington Bank, where her warm smile and helpful nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A devout member of the Nativity of Christ Church, Katherine found solace and community within its walls. She was also an active member of the Eastern Star, dedicating her time and energy to their noble charitable endeavors.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicholas J. Pacak, with whom she shared many wonderful years. Katherine was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dr. Raymond Bond, Atty. J. Eugene Bond and Elaine Valerio.

Katherine’s legacy of love, kindness and unwavering dedication will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory be eternal.

Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at Lake Park Cemetery, 1459 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44502.
