Christopher C. Baun 1974-2025

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — With deep sorrow we announce that Christopher Conrad Baun passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at his home in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
He was born in 1974 in Youngstown and graduated from Western Reserve High School.
Chris was lead service technician with Bulldog Harley-Davidson at the time of his passing. He had been with Harley Davidson for more than 26 years. He worked at Youngstown, Warren, Shelton, Ray Price and the Milwaukee Plant.
He was considered by many to be an excellent cook and loved to do so when given the opportunity.
Surviving is his daughter, Charley Elizabeth Baun, and her partner, Daniel Zacharias of Raleigh; his mother, Linda (Jack) Foster Evans of Canfield; father, Charles (Rita) Baun of Canfield; sisters, Erica (Don) Creque of North Las Vegas and Alyssa (Cody) Blick of Poland; his nephews, Foster and Liam Creque; and his nieces, Zoey and Paisley Blick.
Chris will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His love for his family, passion for his work, and his generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
The family received friends Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Help Thy Neighbor Johnston County, 102 Duchess Drive, Garner, NC 27529-9629.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
