Susan M. Weeks 1947-2025
PROCTOR, W.Va. — Susan Marie Jones Weeks, 77, formerly of Austintown, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., surrounded by her children.
She was born Oct. 1, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Thomas H. Jones and Virginia M. Franklin Jones.
She was a retired line laborer with Packard Electric, a longtime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and a member of Proctor Christian Church.
She loved spending time outdoors and with her family. Susan was also an animal lover, having numerous pets over the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, James H. Weeks Sr. of Proctor, W.Va.; and a grandson, Vito Anthony Weeks.
Survivors include three sons, James H. (Lisa) Weeks Jr. of Benwood, W.Va., Scott A. Weeks and Stephen E. Weeks, both of Proctor, W.Va.; three sisters, Christine Learn of Austintown, Jane Shaffer of Boardman and Linda Lude of Berlin Center; three grandchildren, Corey (Zelzin) Weeks of Colorado, Kara (Alex) Magnolia and Thomas J. Weeks, both of Ohio; a great-fgranddaughter, Harper Evelyn Magnolia; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
At Susan’s request, there will be no services.
