Margaret “Peg” Slavin 1932-2024
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Margaret Bessie Slavin, 92, known by family and friends as “Peg,” went to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024. Peg left this world at home with her devoted daughters, Bonnie and Kim, at her side holding her hands.
She was a resident of Hubbard until 1990, when she and her husband retired to Pompano Beach, Florida.
Peg leaves her two daughters; two granddaughters, Adrienne and Alexis; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Leila Haddath; and her husband, Raymond, of 57 years.
Peg and Ray lived a full and blessed life with family first and hobbies which included friends, golf and boating. They owned several businesses in the Youngstown / Hubbard area. They were members of Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa., and Pompano Beach Golf Association.
Peg will be remembered by many for her beauty and great personality. Peg loved life and the Lord. She will be loved and missed forever!
