Edna M. Lipscomb 1956-2025

She was born in Indiana, Pa., on May 10, 1956, the daughter of Arthur J. and Mary Fleeger Gromley. She spent most of her life in the Niles / Girard area and many years with her husband in Miamisburg.

Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and watching hummingbirds and backyard wildlife. She loved horror movies, card games and talking or spending time with her family.

Edna is survived by her husband of 38 years, Roger L. Lipscomb Sr.; four children, Robert J. (Jennifer) Gromley of Girard, Roger L. (Heather) Lipscomb Jr. of Vermilion, David L. (Carol) Lipscomb of Girard and Debbie J. (Ray) Bartlett of PawPaw, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, Amber, Kara, Alyssa, Stephanie, Jesse, Tara, Alan, Eric, Emily and Sean; and nine great-grandchildren, Destiny, Ethan, Jace, Jayden, Arya, Stephen, Emma, Kelsey and Allison. She also had many cherished sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kris Ann Muncy; grandson, Christopher; and nine siblings, Vincent Gromley, Arthur Gromley, Ronald Gromley, Barry Gromley, Edwin Gromley, Joseph Gromley, Robert Gromley, Arla King and Althea Joyce.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial service, with a celebration of life to follow, will be held this spring on her birthday, May 10, 2025, at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles.
