Kenneth R. Dunn 1939-2024

Kenneth was born May 12, 1939, in Youngstown, a son of Kenneth A. and Marjorie Hoffman Dunn.

He was a 1957 graduate of South High School. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area. Kenneth worked in construction for over 35 years.

Kenneth married the love of his life, the former Nancy Schultz; they shared 53 years of marriage.

He was of the Catholic faith and a member of Christ Our Savior Parish-Holy Trinity Church in Struthers.

He was a big NASCAR fan and even attended over 40 Daytona 500 races during his annual trips to Daytona Beach, Florida. He enjoyed all sports. Kenneth liked to take trips to the casino and have coffee with friends at the Southern Park Mall. He also coached baseball for his sons’ teams and he helped raise his grandson.

Kenneth will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Nancy; his children, Nancy M. Dunn (Richard) of Streetsboro, Jonathan D. Dunn (Tanisha) of Girard and Richard M. (Matthew) Dunn of Campbell; his grandsons, Jacob Dunn and Chaise Henderson; and his sister, Sandra Miklandric of Campbell. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Roland “Butch” Dunn; and his brother-in-law, William Miklandric.

The Dunn family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, where they will receive family and friends 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, with the Very Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw, J.C.L., V.G. officiating.
