Theresa Aaron 1939-2024

Theresa was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Maria Vincenza Pangio.

Theresa was an extremely caring and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was a graduate of East High School and retired from Giant Eagle after 30 years of service.

Theresa was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica.

In her spare time, she loved playing penny slots, spending time with her grandchildren, and socializing daily with her brothers and sisters. She was highly involved with her husband Ed in the formation of the Uptown Kiwanis T-ball league at Gibson Field.

Theresa will always be remembered lovingly by her three sons, Edwin Jr. (Melissa) Aaron, Michael (Kelly) Aaron and Joseph Aaron; three grandchildren, Kaige, Courtney and Barrett; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Vincent and Elijah; and two sisters, Anita Palocyi and Jean (Robert) Korhely.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin P. Aaron Sr.; three brothers, Dan, Angelo and Jay Pangio; and sister, Louise Ward.

Family and friends may pay their respects 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.

Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. presiding.
