Sue Ann Niro 1947-2024

Sue Ann was born March 31, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of Nicholas and Antoinette Martucci Carfolo.

She lived in the area her whole life and graduated from Chaney High School in 1965. She retired from the trust department at Huntington Bank as an administrator. She also served as a literacy tutor volunteer at McKinley Elementary in the Poland School District. Her hobbies were baking, cooking and traveling. Her greatest joy in life was cooking for holiday and family dinners and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sue Ann married Michael Niro on Jan. 29, 1966.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Maria A. (Steven) Hoffmaster of Poland and Dolores (Mark) Beith of Boardman; one sister Diane (Sharon Petrella) Carfolo; also four grandchildren Kayla and Isabella Hoffmaster, and Jessica and Jacob Beith.

Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents

A prayer service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church in Poland.

Friends may call 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, two hours before the prayer service.
