Mary Darlene Scialdone 1944-2024
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Darlene Scialdone, 80, who departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at Poudre Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Sharon, Pa., to the late Anthony and Delores Acerra. She was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School, Class of 1962, and devoted her life to nurturing and caring for her family.
Mary leaves to forever cherish her memory, her husband of 61 years, Samuel D. Scialdone, whom she married June 15, 1963; her four daughters, Michele DeCrescenzo, Rosemary Biggerstaff, Christine Siebers and Monica Masico, all of Colorado; her son, Michael Scialdone of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
