Mary C. Eliseo 1944-2024

She will be missed greatly by her children, Christina Marie Casillas (Robert) of Laguna Niguel, California, John Eliseo (Michelle) and Robert Eliseo, of Peoria, Arizona, and Livia Eliseo of Corona, California; as well as her grandchildren, Julian Casillas, Isabella Casillas, Abigail Casillas, Vincent Eliseo and Anthony Eliseo; and so many who knew her, including siblings, Ben Eliseo (Paula), Virginia Eliseo and Carl Eliseo (Jennifer); and her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Cesar Giovanni Eliseo and Livia Pauline Eliseo; her sisters, Anna Eliseo and Irene Eliseo; and brothers, John Eliseo, Paul Eliseo and George Eliseo.

Mary Christine Eliseo was born to Cesare Giovanni Eliseo and Livia Pauline LaRosa on May 26, 1944, in Youngstown. Shortly after graduating from Ursuline Catholic High School, she joined the Marine Corps and proudly served her country for six years. She met her former husband while stationed at Parris Island, South Carolina.

After 16 years of marriage, she took on the role of single, full-time parent to her four children while putting herself through school, where she earned a licensed vocational nursing degree. She spent her nursing career at Riverside General Hospital and Kaiser Permanente, as well as being a home healthcare nurse.

Services will be Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Peoria, Arizona. Additionally, a Mass is being said with her intentions, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Laguna Niguel, California.
