Grace L. Holbrook 1941-2024

YOUNGSTOWN — Grace L. Holbrook, 83, passed away peacefully, Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, at Hospice House, surrounded by her family.

Born April 21, 1941, in Wooster, Grace is the daughter of Roy and Myrtle Smith Jolliff.

Grace graduated from Hubbard High School. She dedicated herself to raising a loving family, pouring her heart into creating a nurturing and supportive home. Grace loved playing bingo, but above all, she treasured the time spent with her family. The memories she created with her loved ones will forever be etched in their hearts.

Grace is survived by her children, Patricia Wilson of Youngstown, Jean Wilson of Girard, Connie (Paul) Coombs of Youngstown, Audra (Tim) Smith of Youngstown, Charles (Lizz) Pugh of Austintown and Robert (Danica) Pugh of Youngstown. Her legacy continues through her 31 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Pugh, whom she married in 1966 and who passed away in 1974. Grace also mourned the loss of her son, Eugene Wilson Jr.; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Hanes; and her grandson, Robert Wilson.

Friends and family are invited to honor Grace’s life at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave. in Youngstown. Visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, followed by a funeral service beginning at 6 p.m.

She will be laid to rest in Four Mile Run Cemetery.
