Filomena Gentile 1935-2024

Filomena was born Jan. 25, 1935, in Barea, Italy, the daughter of Biago and Amalia DiSilvestri Campana.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica.

Filomena will be remembered lovingly by her son, Bruno Gentile; daughter-in-law, Sharon Gentile; four grandchildren, Angelo (Jennifer) Gentile Jr., Elisa Weaver, Gino (fiance, Kristine) Gentile and Anthony (fiancé, Emily) Gentile; six great-grandchildren, Rossi, Ava, Christopher, Isabella, Mario and Jared; and sister, Elisa.

Besides her parents, Filomena was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Gentile; three sons, Angelo, Mario and Gino; and two brothers, Luigi and Leonardo.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, followed by a noon funeral service.
