Robert M. Dennis 1941-2024
HENDERSON, Nev. — Robert Maurice Dennis, 82, formerly of Youngstown, passed away Saturday night, Sept. 21, 2024, in the arms of his daughter, Michelle, son-in-law Joe, and grandsons, Maxwell and Jack Fields. His devoted dog, Bella, was also at his side.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Dennis and Mary Dennis. His beloved wife of 36 years, MaryAnn, went to Heaven in 2018.
He leaves behind stepchildren, Leane (Ronnie) Gaskins, Joey (Jody) Hood, Debbie Hood, Larry (Janice, deceased) Hood and Raymond (Carla) Hood, Rebecca Shingleton, Debbie Mannino (Sam Raddish) and Larry (Sue) Harwell; several grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Barbara Applegate and Virginia Orneleas.
Bob was a truck driver for over 50 years and drove an estimated 4 million miles without an accident or citation in that time.
He loved motorcycles, remodeling houses, working on cars and trucks, and building things. He could fix or build anything. He loved dogs and always had a loving companion by his side. He will be missed by his family and friends.
There will be no funeral or memorial service.
