Andrea Gorgacz 1971-2024

Born June 5, 1971, in Youngstown, Andrea graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1989. She enjoyed her early role as a homemaker and later a diverse career in food and beverage.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She had a warm smile and a gentle spirit that radiated love and compassion.

Andrea loved spending time with her family and friends in her final years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for all. Her latest passion was baking and she was always trying out new recipes with her friends.

Her kindness, compassion and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Andrea is survived by her husband, Michael Sr.; her children, Alexis (Tyler), Michael Jr. (Brooke) and Benjamin; her grandson, Weston; parents, David Sr. and Sandra Pickens; and her brother, David Pickens Jr. (Beth) and their children, Olivia, Julia and Samuel.

Andrea was preceded in death by her partner, James Calpin.

Visitation will be 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, with a private memorial to follow, at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home in Cornersburg.

Andrea will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, you will be sadly missed.
