Jeanette L. Perkins 1961-2024

Jeanette was born June 18, 1961, in Youngstown, the daughter of John W. and Rhea Bilger Perkins.

Jeanette had worked as a project manager for Verizon Corporation. Jeanette was a faithful Christian, having been a member of the First Christian Church in Girard and Gibson Heights Presbyterian Church in Youngstown.

Jeanette was always willing to help people in need, either through her churches or their committees. She cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jessica Egner and her significant other, John Wells of Hubbard; her son, Jim Egner and his wife, Lori of Hubbard; grandchildren, Holly, Hunter, Rhea and Ella; sister, Jacqueline Salerno; brother, John R. Perkins; nephew, Jay Perkins; niece, Jennifer (Jeff) Pappa; and a great-niece, Jordan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Barker.

Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at Blackstone Funeral Home, where family and friends may gather from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
