Sinda E. Judis 1954-2024
AUSTINTOWN — Sinda Elaine Swickard Judis, 70, passed away peacefully at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh, Pa., Friday, June 28, 2024.
She was born the daughter to the late Harold R. Swickard and Inez C. Buxton Swickard in Steubenville on March 17, 1954, and was a 1972 graduate of Jefferson Union High School.
Sinda worked in the claims department for 25 years at the Social Security Administration before retiring.
She married the love of her life, Don Judis, on May 24, 1981, whom she spent 43 years with, building memories and creating a life full of happiness.
Sinda was a member of New Somerset Christian Church and enjoyed many hobbies and interests throughout her life. She enjoyed browsing bookstores, reading mystery novels, traveling and especially spending time with her family.
Sinda leaves behind to carry on her memory her husband; her children, Timothy Judis and Patrick (Amanda Tonoli) Judis; her granddaughter, Isla; and one sister and one brother, Mary (Ken) Stevens and Dave Swickard.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
