Michael Gianfresco Jr. 1935-2024

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, JeanAnn Allen Gianfrancesco.

He was born June 9, 1935, in Youngstown, to the late Michael Sr. and Angelina Marino Gianfrancesco, from Foggia, Italy, and lived in Youngstown.

Junie attended South High School and worked for The Steel Door Co. before joining his brother-in-law, Mike Lariccia, at Lariccia’s Italian Foods, where he became a “legend” and served his customers like family until his retirement. Never one to sit still, Junie went back to work at Lariccia’s part-time, where he enjoyed talking to the many customers and making long-lasting friendships.

He leaves behind his daughter, Sherri Hill; granddaughters, Kaitlin (Justin) McNally and Meredith (Corey) Gruelle; great-granddaughters, Nora, Emilia, Clara and Lola; great-grandson, Callan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Daniel, Mary Vona, Anthony, Edith Lariccia, Joseph, and Nancy DelSignore.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
