Iris ‘Jane’ Genova 1936-2024

Jane was born Dec. 18, 1936, in Salem, daughter of the late Archie and Edna Davis Rush.

Over the years, Jane did home and office cleaning. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church. She enjoyed bowling, baking and was a member of the Red Hats. Jane most enjoyed attending her kid’s activities.

Jane is survived by her husband, Ralph Genova Jr., whom she married Feb. 1, 1962; her children, Robyn Corl, Ralph (Faith) Genova, Patrick (Ellen) Genova and Joseph (Cathy) Genova; a brother, Larry (Carolyn) Rush; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her infant son, Nicholas Genova; son-in-law, Michael Corl; and stepfather, Arthur Loesch.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc., 258 Poland Ave.in Struthers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. to go to the church.

Jane will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery.
