Donald W. Wolford Jr. 1962-2024

ROGERS, Ark. — Donald “Donny” W. Wolford Jr., true to his own spirit, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas, while holding the hand of his longtime partner, Pamala Caldwell.

Donny, the youngest child of Donald and Mildred Lozier Wolford, was born Dec. 13, 1962. He spent his formative years as a student at St. Charles Elementary and Boardman High School.

Throughout his life, he succeeded within a myriad employment opportunities. A sales position allowed him to travel all over the United States and eventually throughout Europe for numerous years, where he acquired some incredible stories related to his experiences. Upon his return to the States, Don embraced the machine trades and spent time working and making friends in Houston, Texas, Cleveland, Ohio, Jacksonville, Florida, and eventually, Rogers, Arkansas.

Don loved all music, particularly rock ‘n’ roll, and The Doors. He was a fan of all sports but especially the NFL, and, being the eternal optimist that he was, the Cleveland Browns, despite the fact that they were always “one player away from an NFL championship.”

Donny is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Myers (Mark Myers); three brothers, Robert Wolford (Susan Boylan), James Wolford (Lynne Bolivar) and David Wolford (Kelly Wolford); several nieces, nephews and close cousins; and many good friends.

Donny has been cremated and a private family memorial service is being scheduled.
