Ruby Carroll 1927-2024

She was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Vintondale, Pa., to Dusan and Dorothy Puruzodich Puskar.

Ruby was a homemaker and a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Her hobbies included cooking, playing cards, canning and reading.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Kelby) Knoedler of Powell; a son, David Carroll of Brunswick; a sister, Rosella Vuich of Hermitage, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Carroll, whom she married Jan. 25, 1953, and who passed away Aug. 3, 1997; two sisters, Mary Morrison and Betty Kosanovich; and a brother, Mylan Puskar.

Services are private. Burial is in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
