Frank J. Vickers 1976-2024
BOARDMAN — Frank J. Vickers, 47, passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Frank was born Jan. 7, 1976, in Youngstown, the son of Frank Sinkovich and Karen Vickers, both of Youngstown.
He was a 1994 graduate of Boardman High School.
Frank was employed at Rudzik Excavating as a project manager for many years.
He was an expert in his field and was extremely proud of all his professional accomplishments. He was considered the best in his field.
Frank was a devoted loving husband, father and best friend to his wife and son. His kindness and compassion for others was immeasurable. Frank lived and breathed for his family. Frank (aka Coach) had a true passion for sports. He attended every game that his son was involved in. Frank enjoyed being a coach and mentor. The joy that his son Enzo gets from playing football, hockey and lacrosse filled Frank’s heart with love. The best name he was known for was “Dad.”
Frank and his son are the biggest Steelers and Michigan fans. They always looked forward to football season every year. The love they had for each other was truly amazing and their bond was evident to all.
Frank’s biggest blessing in life was his beautiful marriage to his wife and the birth of his son.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shannon (Marciano) Vickers; their son, Enzo Frank Vickers; mother-in-law, Patricia Marciano; aunt, Beth (Uncle Bob) Bathhurst; and his cousin, Brett.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Thomas Marciano.
The family will receive relatives and friends 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 29, 2024, at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Boardman followed by a noon Mass of Christian Burial.
